Conventional Solar AC

Four steps create extra equipment, higher costs, energy loss, and grid dependence.
1 - Solar Panels

Solar panels collect energy from the sun and generate direct current (DC) electricity.

2 - Inverter

The inverter converts DC into alternating current (AC). This extra step adds cost, complexity, and causes 6–8% energy loss.

3 - Grid

The grid redistributes converted power back to the building, adding dependency on both the inverter and the grid.

4 - AC Unit

The air conditioning unit pulls power from the grid to run, making it dependent on multiple conversion steps and vulnerable to outages.
